Learn to lead an international group!
Please note: This seminar will enable you to lead youth groups in general. In addition, we will introduce you to various volunteer services offered by ijgd in order to train you as an ijgd team member, with a focus on workcamps and FSJ (voluntary social year).

Description:
You want to get involved in international youth work?
Then you are a perfect fit for ijgd and our workcamps!
This seminar will teach you everything you need to lead international groups in Germany.
The seminar consists of the following seminar contents:
1. legal/organisational aspects, during the workcamp you have the duty of supervision and management of organisational tasks.
2. leadership role, as you are the first contact person for participants as well as project partners and us, the ijgd.
3. self-organisation, to enable the entire workcamp group to actively participate with their wishes
4. internationality to promote intercultural learning.
The seminar is practical, varied, with many exercises and lively group work. So that you right away experience the very special atmosphere of joint learning and joint activity.
Location:
The youth guesthouse in alfeld is situated in the middle of a green park. The modern double, four-bed and six-bed rooms are pleasantly furnished and can accommodate 38 people. In the large self-catering kitchen, you can let your creativity run wild. Since the house is near to the city center of Alfeld(Leine), arriving by train and finding shopping opportunities are not a problem.
Remarks:
If you lead a workcamp in the same year, we will refund your seminar fee! Therefore look for your favourite workcamp of the 2026 season and get ready to lead!
