Description:
You want to get involved in international youth work?
Then you are a perfect fit for ijgd and our workcamps!

This seminar will teach you everything you need to lead international groups in Germany and consists of the following seminar contents:

• legal/organisational aspects, during the workcamp you have the duty of supervision and management of organisational tasks.
• leadership role, as you are the first contact person for participants as well as project partners and us, the ijgd.
• self-organisation, to enable the entire workcamp group to actively participate with their wishes
• internationality to promote intercultural learning.

The seminar is practical, varied, with many exercises and lively group work. So that you right away experience the very special atmosphere of joint learning and joint activity.

After completing your training, you're able to lead your very first Workcamp with us!

The house/ accomondation:

The Anti-War Workhouse is the seminar and group house in Sievershausen. The Anti-War Workhouse is located on a historical site and looks back on a long history itself.
Withits attractive outdoor area, it is an ideal place to hold seminars, training courses and camps.
It has 20 beds, up to four group rooms, modern sanitary facilities and a well-equipped kitchen.

Remarks:
The special thing about this training seminar in Alfeld is that this year's training for group leader trainers is taking place at the same time and place as the training for workcamp leaders! New participants will have an opportunity to meet group leaders who have already led an international Workcamp and experience first-hand what the group leaders have to be ready for during their Workcamps.
